Seppuku, bigotry and incompetence.

Seppuku, at times also called Hari-Kari is Japanese ritual suicide done by disembowelment. It's a centuries old tradition, originally followed by the samurai. Seppuku was done to achieve an honorable death to avoid capture following defeat, as a protest and a way of expressing grief over the death of a revered leader;  later on it was also used as a capital punishment for the samurai,
Japanese culture is fascinating just like the country. As a kid, I wanted to visit four or five countries and Japan was one of them. From hearing about the cherry blossom in Tokyo to the breathtakingly beautiful architecture, the desire to visit the country increased each year.
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to visit it yet but hopefully in the future will be able to. Anyhow, coming back, the dedication they have for their work life is simply impressive, at the very least.
Japanese products are known for their reliability all over the word. Take for example, the Toyota Hilux which was given a bashing by Jeremy Clarkson, and still it could drive, with the aid from a few simple tools.
Countries like Japan have people who are dedicated to their work and they make sure they're doing the best that is possible. Mind you, this country suffered badly at the end of the second world war and now is an epitome of progress. There is no shortcut to making good and long lasting progress, their worked on their shortcoming and made a name for themselves.
Looking at the Pakistani the society overall, it is evident that we don't have an idea about what our purpose is, there is disturbing lack of dedication and honesty in our work ethics and that is simply not limited to the work life, it's spillover effects are seen in other segments of our lives as well.
Over the course of 73 years, one thing which has flourished is bigotry and not just one type of bigotry, oh no we have a variety, with religious and political bigotry sharing the the crown. Religion is a sensitive topic yet we choose to pass comments about it without understanding the significance it carries, the general mindset focuses on one side being 110% righteous while the other party is heading right for the beaches in hell. Here's the funny thing, people passing these verdicts don't generally have a strong grip on actual religion, their actions if looked up closely or with an open mind will reveal their fixation, arrogance and ignorance.
A team of hardworking people would suffer from burn out, frustration and depression when headed by an incompetent leaders and they simply would not be able to produce the desired results, albeit some progress could be achieved. Similarly, the same result is expected if you switch the roles.
Speeches give a momentary high to the public, it is the actions which start to process for change. Emotionally charging the people, promising to deliver and yet failing spectacularly reveals incompetence at every level. The victim card has been used so many times by so many politicians that it's lost the value. What we also fail to understand is this, we have been forced to accept that we cannot lead, that we need the corrupt and certified politicians to lead us, that we require the hate preachers to guide us about religion, the simple fact is this "if you cannot open your eyes to see what the hell is wrong around you and what the f@*k is wrong with you, than you simply cannot change"
